Towing in Fort Lee, Englewood, Teaneck and eastern Bergen County: the bridge approach, I-95 and Route 4
The eastern towns sit on and behind the Palisades, where I-95, Route 4, Route 46 and the Palisades Interstate Parkway all funnel toward the George Washington Bridge. Fort Lee, Englewood, Teaneck, Leonia, Palisades Park, Edgewater, Cliffside Park and Englewood Cliffs are about 40 to 45 minutes from Linden, and bridge traffic can add to that.
High-rise garages and bridge traffic: towing in Fort Lee, Englewood and Teaneck
Eastern Bergen calls come from the bridge approach, from I-95 and Route 4, from tight high-rise garages and from busy downtowns, and each is priced at the same $149 booking fee by phone, or $129 when you book online.
The George Washington Bridge approach
The bridge and its toll plaza are Port Authority ground, and their crews move a stalled car off it. Once the car is on a Fort Lee street or in a lot, we pick it up and take it where you choose.
On the I-95 approach before the bridge, and on Route 4 and Route 46 leading in, we dispatch directly.
I-95, Route 4 and the Palisades Parkway
I-95 runs north from the Turnpike's end through Teaneck and Englewood to Fort Lee, and Route 4 crosses Teaneck and Englewood on its way to the bridge. The Palisades Parkway starts in Fort Lee and heads north along the cliffs.
The Parkway has its own rules on its shoulders, so tell the dispatcher and we meet the car wherever it can be reached.
Fort Lee and Edgewater garages
High-rise buildings along the cliffs and the river have tight underground garages with low ceilings. A wheel-lift or dollies bring a car up to the street before it goes on a flatbed.
Tell the dispatcher the building, the garage level and the clearance if it is posted.
Englewood, Teaneck and Palisades Park downtowns
Englewood Hospital, Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, Cedar Lane's shops and Broad Avenue in Palisades Park all draw heavy parking. Most calls are batteries, lockouts and flats.
A car blocking a hospital entrance goes to the top of the board.

Call nowFort Lee, Englewood & Teaneck: common questions
Short answers to what people ask about this page; the dispatcher can answer the rest.
Can you tow my car off the George Washington Bridge?
Not from the bridge itself; that is Port Authority ground and their crews clear it. Once the car is off, in Fort Lee or a nearby lot, we pick it up.
My car is in a low Fort Lee high-rise garage. Can you reach it?
Usually. A wheel-lift or dollies bring it to the street first. Tell us the posted clearance if you can see it.
How long to Teaneck or Englewood?
About 40 to 45 minutes from Linden in normal traffic. Bridge traffic can add time, and the dispatcher will tell you.
Do you pick up at Englewood Hospital or Holy Name?
Yes, from their lots and garages once security clears the truck.
Anything else? Ask on the call.
